From the pages of a powerful memoir to the big screen — the remarkable true story of survival, redemption, and the resilience of spiritual faith.
An independent studio built on true stories.
Big Chief Publishing & Film Production is an independent creative studio dedicated to transforming authentic life experiences into powerful books, films and visual storytelling.
Founded by author, filmmaker and executive producer Bryce Turner, the company exists to tell stories that inspire, challenge and leave a lasting impact — stories that begin on the page and are carried, unaltered, to the screen.
Every project begins with truth. Every story is created with purpose. Every film starts with a book.
Big Chief Publishing
The foundation of everything we make. Before a single frame is shot, a story is lived and written. Our publishing arm exists to give those stories their first form — honest, unpolished, and permanent.
Big Chief Film Production
Where the written word becomes image and sound. We produce feature films that stay faithful to the memoirs that inspired them — built frame by frame with the same honesty they were written with.
